NEWPRO leases 12,000 s/f at Cumming Properties’s 60 Concord St.

60 Concord Street - Wilmington, MA

Wilmington, MA NEWPRO Home Improvement Solutions will relocate its Cummings Park offices to 12,000 s/f at 60 Concord St. The move will nearly quadruple the Woburn-based firm’s footprint within the Cummings Properties portfolio.

Established in 1945, NEWPRO provides a full suite of remodeling services and energy-efficient home improvement solutions to homeowners throughout New England. In addition to its Cedar St., Woburn headquarters and the new Wilmington facility, the family-owned and operated company has offices serving southern New England in Wrentham, Mass.

“The accessibility of the new Wilmington office, which is within minutes of our headquarters and directly off I-93, will be very convenient for interdepartmental collaboration,” said NEWPRO president Nick Cogliani. “Our company culture, which has earned us BBJ and Inc 5000 Best Workplace recognition, demonstrates a strong emphasis on teamwork, both within the organization and with the clients we serve. This state-of-the-art inside sales and marketing facility will support our growth from this past year and will as well in the future.”

Cummings Properties account manager Natalie Breen worked directly with Cogliani on the expansion. The Concord St. office will be home base for NEWPRO’s marketing and customer relations teams, including an expanded 45-person inside sales unit.

“It’s always exciting to share in the success of a long-time client,” said Breen, who noted that Cummings’ relationship with NEWPRO dates back to the 1990s. “With a portfolio of more than 10 million s/f, we were well equipped to accommodate NEWPRO’s impressive evolution in a space just down the road from its previous location.”

In addition to 10 private offices and an expansive open area for cubicles, the new suite features upgraded interior finishes and an outdoor picnic area.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
