NewportFed promotes McIntyre to asst. VP/commercial lending

The board of directors of NewportFed has promoted Sean McIntyre to assistant vice president/commercial lending. McIntyre is responsible for originating new commercial loans and maintaining and servicing the existing portfolio in the West Bay area of Rhode Island. McIntyre has been at NewportFed since 2006 and has had a diverse background in bank and retail management previously at IKON Office Solutions as well as Fleet Boston Financial. He is co-chair of the Narragansett Art Festival and a member of the Wakefield Rotary Club. NewportFed has a main office in Newport, and 4 branch locations in Middletown, Wakefield, 2 in Westerly and 2 locations scheduled to open this year, one in Portsmouth, R.I. and one in Stonington, Conn.
