Newman of Malkin Properties renews 2,325 s/f lease at MerrittView

Bell, Falla and Associates, LLC, a market research firm that provides consulting services to pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies, has renewed its lease and will expand at Malkin Properties' MerrittView, according to Jeffrey Newman, executive vice president of Malkin Properties, the marketing and managing agent for the building. The tenant will extend its current lease for 2,325 s/f on the penthouse level while expanding into another 2,862 s/f space on the same floor. "We're at the point where the company is growing faster than our present office space can sustain, but we never for a minute considered leaving MerrittView," said Steve Bell, senior partner of Bell Falla. "We like the amenities, location, building management, and penthouse views. We appreciate Malkin Properties' successful efforts to satisfy our expansion within the building." Newman, senior leasing associate Kimberly Zaccagnino and leasing associate Jovani Rampersad represented the landlord in this transaction. The tenant was represented by Barbara Segalini-Stilley of CB Richard Ellis. Malkin Construction will build out the expansion space for Bell Falla. Malkin Properties is the real estate management, marketing and acquisition arm of the Malkin family which has commercial, retail and residential operations in seven states.
