New store openings at Meadow Glen in Medford

Medford, MA Meadow Glen Mall begins new life as Meadow Glen – no longer a mall but a 300,000 s/f reimagined shopping destination featuring some of the nation’s most popular and successful brands.

Dick’s Sporting Goods celebrated its grand opening with three days of celebrations the weekend of September 15-17. One of the nation’s leading sports and fitness retailers, Dick’s is joining long-time favorites Marshalls and Kohl’s, which have remained open during the center’s renovations.

Petco, a popular pet specialty retailer dedicated to providing the products, services, advice and experiences that keep pets physically fit, mentally alert, socially engaged and emotionally happy, opened on September 25.

Wegmans Food Markets, a family-owned grocery chain offering customers choice, quality and value throughout their stores, will hold its official grand opening on November 5. The new Wegmans will be the popular grocer’s first Massachusetts location to feature The Burger Bar, a family-friendly, casual restaurant counter that serves delicious burgers, fresh salads, flavorful sandwiches, specialty milkshakes, soups, and sides.

Located on 3850 Mystic Valley Parkway, Meadow Glen is easily accessible by both car and public transportation.

In addition to new stores, Meadow Glen has undergone other improvements, including storefront facades throughout, a complete renovation of the parking area — including site lighting and landscaping, and updated exterior signage.

For nearly forty years, New England Development has taken a creative, entrepreneurial approach to real estate development and management.
