New IMFA Boston Member Spotlight - December

  • Brendan Leary is an account executive with Siemens Building Technologies focusing on automation and mechanical services.  Leary is a 2016 graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a BS in Facilities Engineering. 
  • Christopher Caputo is the assistant director of facilities at The Country Club in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Caputo is new to the world of facilities management and has a background in both residential and commercial construction. He has a bachelor’s degree in business/marketing from Western New England College.
  • Isabel Smith is the director of operations and business development at Boston Art. She graduated from Dalhousie University (Halifax, NS) with a degree in Anthropology.
  • Allyson Murphy is the national client executive for Sanofi North America for Sodexo, the leading provider of integrated food and facilities management services. Since 2013, Murphy served as senior director, strategic account management responsible for retaining and expanding strategic partnerships with Sodexo’s Fortune 1000 clients throughout North America. Her prior position as director, strategic marketing for Sodexo Campus Services. She first joined Sodexo USA as the director of sales and marketing for Spirit Cruises in New York. Prior to Sodexo, Murphy’s experience includes director of brand marketing and media with Brigham’s Ice Cream (headquartered in Arlington, Mass.). She has served as an adjunct faculty member for Boston College and Boston University and has published a children’s book. With a master’s of science from Boston University, Murphy is a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst (CPBA) and Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt) certified. She graduated from St. John’s University with her bachelor of arts. 
  • Jim Carlson works for CW Services at Gillette Stadium where he is the facilities manager. He started there as an electrician and moved up to his current role. 
  • Madison Smith is a facilities coordinator for the Massachusetts Medical Society located in Waltham, Mass. Prior, she studied at the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and graduated in 2016.
  • Michelle Flynn is the senior manager of office services at Enel Green Power North America with headquarters in Andover, Mass.
  • Melissa Reinke is a global workplace strategy leader for GE located in Boston. She leads GE’s workplace strategy program, Workplace Connect, which plays a key role in the transformation of GE’s culture. Connecting people, teams and the workplace to GE’s purpose, Reinke and her team work across its businesses to develop customized programs for taking specific projects from visioning and design through the change management and activation of new sites.
  • Leslie Ortiz is a student at Wentworth Institute of Technology pursuing her master’s degree in Facility Management while working as a customer service support admin. with Keolis. 
  • David Paula Nunez is a housing operations manager at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Prior to this he worked as a custodial supervisor at MIT. From 2009-2014, Nunez served in the US Army as an NCO in Operations. He has an HVAC&R certificate from Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology – Boston, 2017, a master of science in Facilities Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology – Boston, 2015, and a bachelors in Business Administration from Ashford University, Iowa, 2017.
  • Meredith McCarthy is the office manager at Carbon Black based in Waltham, Mass. The company continues to grow and open office domestically and internationally.
