Asheville, NC The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) has named the winners of the 2017 U.S. Design and Development Awards competition, recognizing excellence, innovation and creativity in the U.S. retail real estate industry. ICSC has named Asheville Outlets a commendation winner in the Renovations and Expansions category. Asheville Outlets was developed and is managed by New England Development.
Sharon Morgan, Asheville Outlets general manager said, “We are honored that Asheville Outlets won this prestigious award and pleased to be recognized by ICSC for the creative reimagining of a regional mall into a successful outlet center.” Only nine real estate developments throughout the country won an award, and Asheville Outlets was the only outlet center to achieve this distinction.
