Nedham Electric Supply Co. (NESCO) acquires Midstate Electric Supply

Needham Electric Supply Company (NESCO), a full-service electrical distributor serving electrical contractors, national retail accounts, commercial and industrial companies, and institutional accounts, has acquired certain assets of Midstate Electric Supply, a single branch distributor. Midstate will operate as a NESCO. Founded by Barry Spencer and Dale Trottier in 1995, Midstate Electric Supply is a privately held electrical distributor serving primarily residential contractors in central Vermont. Spencer has been named branch manager and will continue to manage the day-to-day operations. "We are thrilled to have Midstate Electric Supply join the NESCO family and look forward to working with the Barry and Dale to strengthen our presence in Vermont. In addition to his branch management responsibilities, Barry will spend more time in the field engaged in business development activities," said Gregory Wilson, president of NESCO. "We look forward to providing even greater levels of customer service through the resources of a larger organization, including a regional distribution center and the latest technology." NESCO, headquartered in Canton, Mass., has 18 branch locations throughout Mass., N.H. and Vermont.
