Nahigian appointed by Gov. Patrick to Mass. Hwy. R.E. Appraisal Review Board
Rob Nahigian, FRICS, SIOR, CRE of Auburndale Realty Co, Newton has been appointed by Gov. Deval Patrick to the Mass Highway Real Estate Appraisal Review Board. The Real Estate Appraisal Review Board is a key function that evaluates and approves significant interests in real estate acquisition by eminent domain by MassHighway throughout the Commonwealth for the advancement of public works construction projects. Such projects can include new highways, bridges, roads, etc. With this 5-person board, MassHighway is better able to maintain a Right-of-Way process that runs smoothly and effectively.
Gov. Patrick congratulated Nahigian on his appointment and term that runs until May 20, 2012. Gov. Patrick stated that he appreciated Rob's willingness to serve the Commonwealth in this capacity and for his experience and sound judgment that will contribute substantially to the board.
