Mott of Mott & Chace sells two Highland Rd. properties for $3.595m

Charlestown, RI Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty sold 41 Highland Rd. for $1.895 million and 14 Highland Rd. for $1.7 million. Ray Mott, broker/co-owner of Mott & Chace represented all parties.

According to data available from Rhode Island Multiple Listing Service, the sale of 41 and 14 Highland Rd. are the 7th and 12th highest sales in the town in 2019, respectively. 

Agents of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty have represented clients in half of the Charlestown sales over $1 million in 2019. For the second year in a row, Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty has the highest market share in Charlestown.

Mott has sold many properties in the Quonochontaug area this year. His sales for the year include was 75 Surfside Ave., located in Central Beach, 28 Highland Rd., 196 Sea Breeze Dr., and 506 East Beach Rd. His neighbor at 41 Highland Rd. contacted Mott with interest to purchase his listing at 14 Highland. Simultaneously, he was working with a buyer searching for a property in the Quonnie neighborhood when 41 Highland Rd. became available. Mott was able to secure sales agreements for both properties in one weekend, and both sales closed two weeks later.
