Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International sells historic John Stacy House for $1.525 million

Newport, RI The historic John Stacy House c.1845, located at 7 Bowery St., has sold for $1.525 million. This is the highest multifamily transaction in the state so far this year and the third highest multifamily transaction in the last twelve months. 

The sellers of 7 Bowery St. were represented by Michelle Datoli, broker associate with Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. The buyers were represented by Kevan Campbell of Hogan Associates.

“Seven Bowery Street is an incredible home offering the best of Newport. I am glad to have been able to represent the sellers in this transaction,” said Datoli. The home has been renovated featuring leathered granite counters, Carrera marble, and refurbished hardwood floors. The 1,600 s/f third floor apartment features three bedrooms and a private entrance.
