Mitchell of MG Commercial achieves SIOR designation by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors

Providence, RI Leeds Mitchell IV, SIOR, of MG Commercial Real Estate has achieved the SIOR office designation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. SIOR is a Washington, DC-based international professional organization of more than 3,200 commercial real estate professionals whom have earned the coveted SIOR designation.

To achieve the SIOR designation, Mitchell completed at least five years of creditable experience in the highly specialized field of office real estate; met stringent education requirements; and demonstrated professional ability, competency, ethical conduct, and personal integrity.

Individuals who hold the SIOR designation are top producers in the commercial real estate field and are represented in more than 685 cities in 36 countries around the world. SIOR enforces a strict code of ethics and requires designees to complete its ethics course within their first three years of membership.

Mitchell is an executive vice president of MG Commercial Real Estate Services. His primary focus is office sales, leasing and investment sales throughout Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.  A graduate of the Providence Country Day School, Mitchell matriculated at Hobart College where he received his bachelor of arts in Political Science.  In 2011, Providence Business News named Mitchell as one of their prestigious 40 Under Forty.  In 2015, he was the honored recipient of the Robert W. Holmes Scholarship given by the New England Chapter of The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.  Mitchell is also a member of Leadership Rhode Island’s 2015 Lambda II class.
