Milone & MacBroom hires Hurley as director of brownfield redevelopment

Cheshire, CT Milone & MacBroom, Inc. has hired David Hurley, LEP, PG, as director of brownfield redevelopment. He will use his 30 years of environmental project experience to assist private developers, state and regional agencies, and municipal clients in the redevelopment of abandoned and underutilized properties. Ultimately these properties that have complex environmental issues are brought back to productive reuse, often becoming key assets to communities. 

“Dave is a key addition to our environmental team, further emphasizing our continued strategy of providing comprehensive land development consulting services spanning all project phases from conception to completion. Combining Dave’s experience with our planning, geotechnical, site development and infrastructure services provides tremendous value to our public and private sector client base. His skills will be highly complementary to many existing and prospective clients throughout the New England and New York region,” said John Milone, PE, president.

Hurley is a Connecticut Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP), and holds Professional Geologist licenses in New York and New Hampshire. He is a member of the Connecticut General Assembly’s Brownfields Working Group, being actively involved in the development of Connecticut’s innovative new brownfield programs. Hurley is a resident in Ellington, and serves as a member of the Ellington Economic Development Commission.
