MEDCOM Architectural Group designs 6,500 s/f medical building
Orleans, MA MEDCOM Architectural Group recently completed the design of a multi-use medical building which will offer primary, specialty, and urgent care services with convenient on-site x-ray and lab drawing for the lower and outer cape regions.
The single-story, wood-framed, 6,500 s/f clinical facility sits on the site of the former Lobster Claw restaurant off Rte. 6A. The building’s design delivers elevated patient care with its thoughtful interiors, ergonomic exam rooms, and the latest medical technologies, all the while capturing the character of Cape Cod and its architecture.
“The building’s exterior was designed to complement the character of the local area and highlight traditional Cape Cod architecture with a modern approach,” said Greg Siroonian, principal of MEDCOM Architectural Group.
Dellbrook/JKS is the general contractor and broke ground on the new facility this past fall with completion planned for late spring of 2022.
