McFarland of Avison Young handles new 3,400 s/f lease for Ace Ticket

Avison Young has brokered a 3,400 s/f lease at 656 Beacon St. Avison Young broker Karyn McFarland represented the tenant, Ace Ticket. Jonathan Freni, vice president at CBRE, represented the landlord, the trustees of Boston University. 656 Beacon St. is a six-story, 21,780 s/f office building located in the city's Brighton/Allston/Fenway submarket. Ace Ticket is a Boston-based ticket broker selling tickets to sports, concerts and theatre events nationwide. The company was founded by Jim Holzman in 1979. "Ace Ticket is a wonderful local company and I am glad that Avison Young found the right long-term space for them," said McFarland. "Ace Ticket continues to be pleased with our relationship with, and the expertise of, Karyn McFarland with Avison Young and we look forward to a mutually productive relationship with Boston University," said Ace Ticket founder and president Holzman.
