McCollough of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s sells 104 Old Beach Rd. in Newport
Newport, RI Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty brokered the sale 104 Old Beach Rd. for $4.75 million. The seller was represented by Kylie McCollough, sales associate of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. Hogan Associates represented the buyer.
According to data available from Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service, this is one of the highest ever residential sales north of Memorial Blvd. A top sale in the Kay/Catherine area of the city, the Victorian estate has eight bedrooms, nine and one-half bathrooms, and 8,400 s/f of living space. The three-story property is located on just under one acre,
“104 Old Beach Rd. is a modern classic,” said McCollough. “The stunning home blends beautifully into the historic neighborhood and the craftsmanship of the 19th Century inspired home is extraordinary.”
“Rosewalk”, built by Mark Horan in 2001, features a brand-new kitchen and a new resort-style gunite pool, hot tub, and outdoor shower. Other features include millwork, moldings, and custom cabinetry by Tosca Woodworking.
In a seperate Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty transaction, the firm negotiated the sale of 3 Scenic Ridge Ct. in Coventry for $1 million. The custom built coastal inspired executive ranch is set on a private two plus acre lot on a cul-de-sac. The seller was represented by Katina Lemme, sales associate of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. Denise Leonard of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate represented the buyer.
Located in Deer Ridge Estates the home had multiple offers in one day after coming on the market. The home has polished marble countertops and high-end appliances, hickory flooring and slate tile.
According to data available from Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service, this is the highest non-waterfront sale in Coventry year to date. It is also the third most expensive home sale in Coventry this year.
