McCollough of Mott & Chace represents $2m sale of historic home

Mattapoisett, MA Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty has completed the sale of the waterfront home at 122 Mattapoisett Neck Rd. for $2 million. Kylie McCollough, sales associate of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty represented the seller. Paul Costa of HomeSmart Professionals represented the buyers.

Under contract in less than a week, this historic property is sited on land once owned by John Hancock and abuts the Mattapoisett Land Trust Munn Preserve. Extensively renovated in 2003, the four bedroom and three bathroom shingle style home is rich in history and architectural detail. According to data available from MLS PIN, this is the highest sale in town year to date.
