Maugel Architects designs 55 & over housing in Lakeville: 66-unit Lake Point senior housing development

Lakeville, MA According to Maugel Architects construction has begun on the new 66-unit Lake Point senior housing development.

Developed by Jon Delli Priscoli of First Colony Development, the big house-style development is sited on a high bluff overlooking cranberry bogs and Pocksha Pond on Betty’s Neck peninsula.

By giving the illusion of singular mansions, Maugel’s approach to big house design brings a fresh approach to typical multi-residential design throughout the region. The residences at Lake Point pay homage to a bygone era often seen in large New England lake houses and turn of the century homes in the Hamptons. The two bedrooms units feature a den, smart technologies, sustainable materials and views of ponds.

In addition to Maugel Architects and First Colony Development, other team members include:

• Stantec - civil engineering,

TFMoran - structural engineering,

• Lobisser & Ferreira Construction - construction manager,

• Lopes Construction - site work.
