Mark your calendars: Landlord Breakfast April 21st and Annual Golf Outing May 14th

The New England SIOR Chapter is planning its next Featured Landlord Breakfast event on Tuesday, April 21st at 7:30 a.m. at the Newton Marriott. SIOR members and their guests are invited. The featured landlord will be Don Oldmixon of FM Global. FM Global is developing one of the few speculative suburban office buildings. Its newest spec project is located at 175-185 Wyman St., Waltham, and will be approximately 215,000 s/f. This first class office building is expected to be delivered to the market by December 2009. This project is one of the last spec office buildings available and represents a significant suburban office development. FM Global is the real estate arm of Factory Mutual and owns other Boston area projects that Oldmixon will review at the breakfast. FM Global's portfolio includes: Edgewater Place in Wakefield and 404 Wyman St. and Hobbs Brook Office Park Waltham. The Chapter also announced that its annual golf outing will be held Thursday, May 14th at Turner Hill in Ipswich. The golf outing was held here last year and has been a popular location. The golf outing will accommodate 24 slots and will feature a "shotgun" format. The outing will commence at 12 p.m. and conclude with a reception after all teams have completed the course. A lunch will be served, with food and beverage carts circulating the course. Further details will follow.
