Following this presentation, will be the International TOBY judging and the winners on this level will be presented their TOBY Award at the summer convention in Denver at the end of June. I encourage all Greater Hartford BOMA members to try to attend the convention in Denver. As a professional in the commercial real estate industry, you owe it to your company and to yourself to attend one of the summer conventions. Visit the BOMA International web site at www.boma.org for additional information. At this convention, you will have the opportunity to attend many educational sessions, attend the Trade Show with vendors from all across the country, network with some old friends and make some new ones. You will also have time to visit the "Mile High City" during your stay. On May 13th, Greater Hartford BOMA is co-sponsoring An Evening with James Carville with the Real Estate Finance Association of Connecticut. Joining us as co-sponsors are CoreNet Global, The Real Estate Exchange, and MetroHartford Alliance. All BOMA members have been mailed an invitation to this exciting event. Register now and join your real estate colleagues at the Hartford Hilton on May 13th. June 19th is the Annual State of the Market program. The panelists will be Mark Duclos of Sentry Commercial who will discuss the industrial side of commercial real estate, Matt Halprin of New England Retail who will give us an overview of the retail sector, Chris Ostop of Jones Lang LaSalle who will speak about the office sector, and moderating will be John McCormick of CBRE.
