LUX Companies acquires Aquarius Property Mgmt.

Portland, ME LUX Companies, a diversified real estate asset management firm located in downtown, has acquired Aquarius Property Management, a local residential rentals agency. Aquarius’ new owners Daren Hebold and Tom Trask completed the acquisition and management transition on January 1, 2021. 

Aquarius, founded in 2006 by Linda Bancroft specializes in management of both furnished and unfurnished upscale residential rentals. Now under LUX, the firm’s current management portfolio consists of 50 attractive and well-maintained downtown condos, suburban single family residences, and multifamily buildings around the area. Aquarius distinguishes itself by delivering an experience for its tenants and owners alike, with responsiveness, attention to detail, prompt financial reporting and a professional touch that other firms in the market area do not offer. 

LUX is now accepting a limited number of new property management contracts and welcomes discussions with qualified owners interested in our high-touch, signature property management service. LUX, founded in 2012 by Hebold is a portfolio of actively managed businesses specializing in the areas of real estate and cryptocurrency asset management. 

The companies now include LUX Realty, LUX Partners, LP Growth Holdings, Portland Public Market Parking Garage, LUX Residential and LUXOLO Financial. The companies employ 11 full and part time employees based at their headquarters at 63 Federal Street, Portland ME 04101.
