Lovett joins New England Construction as director of multi unit residential

New England Construction hired William Lovett as director of multi unit residential. Lovett has 15 years of experience in multi unit residential industry. This experience includes over 450 units of multi unit residential projects along with over 350 single family units. Lovett will support the company's multi unit sales goals, assisting with any estimating and procurement needs, planning needs, resource needs and overall project execution needs. Lovett's initial responsibilities will include management and oversight of Belmont Commons and Marshfield Commons projects. Belmont commons is a new 10 unit residential living facility which offers affordable town homes to the elderly and physically disabled. This complex is located in Pawtucket. Marshfield Commons is a new affordable housing complex built on 8 acres of land in North Smithfield. This complex will offer 38 single family and duplex style apartments. Lovett's experience and track record in this segment speak for itself and his contributions going forward will assist us in expanding our multi unit residential market. Prior to joining with New England Construction Company Bill worked for Lennar Homes Inc., Hanover company, and Toll Brothers, Inc. While with these companies Lovett handled all aspects of profit and loss, budgeting, contract procurement, and on-site management of single family, town house, and large multi-unit residential properties. Bill graduated Cum Laude from Lafayette College with a BA in Government and Law. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Bill is a licensed MA Building Supervisor, is Storm Water Pollution Prevention certified and maintains his 10 hour OSHA certification.
