Lape of King Real Estate leases 31,000 s/f to Big Lots at Mount Blue Shopping Centers: Hotarek and Bonica of Eastern Retail Properties represents tenant

King Real Estate leased the former Bob's Discount big box retail store at the Mount Blue Shopping Center located at 640 Wilton Rd. to national discount retailer Big Lots. The 31,000 s/f retail space is undergoing extensive interior and exterior renovations to welcome the national chain by mid-September. "We are pleased we could consummate this transaction for all parties involved and are anxiously awaiting this wonderful addition to the Mount Blue Shopping Center and the city of Farmington", said Danielle Lape, associate broker with King Real Estate who brokered the transaction on behalf of the landlord, Tejas Corp. Michael Hotarek and Andrew Bonica of Eastern Retail Properties represented the tenant, Big Lots. Big Lots will join other shopping center tenants including Sears, Family Dollar, US Cellular, Bangor Savings Bank, Dunkin Donuts, Colortyme, Sav-A-Lot, Western Mountain Ophthalmology and Holland's Variety Drug.
