Boston, MA La Colombe opened its newest café at One Seaport (29 Northern Ave.), in the growing Seaport neighborhood.
The 1,197 s/f café is the second location to come to the Boston market, joining La Colombe South Station, which opened in 2016. The coffee company, known for leading the way in establishing ethical and long-term trade practices with growers, is committed to a vision of changing the world by making people happy with coffee.
“We committed very early into the project and the transformation of Seaport has been amazing,” said JP Iberti, president and co-founder of La Colombe. “It was a perfect fit to bring our full experience through design, natural light, art – to our new neighbors. We hope this cafe can be a hub for the neighborhood culture and coffee.”
Hyannis, MA The Landing at Hyannis continues its transformation with three new businesses joining its roster of retail and dining options. These brands, making their debut on Cape Cod, include fashion retailer Nordstrom Rack, physician-owned medical spa SkinMD, and eyewear retailer Warby Parker.
Placemaking. That is the word for 2024. While the concept has historical precedence in urban development, it became part of our current culture in the 1960’s when urbanists started to think about cities for people, not just cars.
