KlingStubbins wins IIDA award for BT Radianz office

KlingStubbins was the recipient of the Best Office Under 20,000 s/f Award for BT Radianz' Corporate Office in downtown. The award was received from the New England Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) at the 3rd Annual Interior Design Awards ceremony held in the city, and stands as testament to the strength of the firm's interior design practice. BT Radianz is a global company and a subsidiary of British Telephone. The project goal was to create a collegial, team-driven atmosphere while remaining true to their European parent company standards. The building type for this project is a 19th century brick and beam warehouse structure in the city's developing Seaport District. "The space is designed to maximize daylight penetration into the work areas," said Sarah Springer, IIDA, IFMA, KlingStubbins' principal and associate director of interior design on the project, "The design intent was to reflect the image of a dynamic, high-tech, and fast forward thinking organization." KlingStubbins provides professional services in all major disciplines within the realm of architecture, engineering, interiors, planning, and landscape architecture.
