Manchester, VT Kincora Development, LLC has acquired the 18,247 s/f Equinox Square Plaza for $4.75 million. The retail center is tenanted by Carter’s Children’s Wear, Pendleton, Jockey, and Subway.

Kincora principal, Mark Mancuso said, “Equinox Square Plaza is well located and occupied by retailers who are tops in their categories. Manchester has long been a destination for shoppers seeking quality retailers located in a quintessential New England town.”

In addition to the indigenous retail customer market, Manchester benefits from multi-seasonal tourism ranging from summer equestrian events at the Vermont Summer Festival, to fall foliage tours, fly fishing (the home of Orvis) on the Battenkill River, and the winter ski season. To accommodate visitor demand, several new hotels are planned, or are under construction including The Taconic Hotel, an upscale 87-room boutique hotel and a 99-room Hampton Inn.

This month, Equinox Square Plaza celebrated the opening of Starbucks in a former bank building with a drive-thru. The Starbucks at Equinox Square is the first Starbucks in Vermont outside of Chittenden County where Starbucks operates four stores.

Kincora Development, LLC is focused on retail development, redevelopment, and acquisition of quality retail properties. The principals are William McCabe III and Mancuso.
