JSA Design completes Sunrise of Newton, a new 101,000 s/f assisted living/memory care facility

Newton, MA JSA Design, an architecture, planning and interior design firm, recently completed Sunrise of Newton, a new 101,000 s/f assisted living and memory care community in Newton, MA.

“This latest addition to the Sunrise portfolio of senior living communities reflects Sunrise’s commitment to offering well-appointed and thoughtful spaces to enhance the lives of seniors and their families,” said  Andy Coelho, senior vice president of construction, facilities and design for Sunrise Senior Living.

The four-story building offers a highly personalized approach to assisted living and memory care, with 85 suites serving 108 residents. Each suite includes custom finishes as well as safety features, including an emergency response system that gives residents the ability to reach Sunrise staff 24 hours a day.

Amenities include a bistro, underground parking, an outdoor park and numerous common areas that support nutrition, wellness, and programming, and individualized choice.

The new community, located in suburban Newton Corner, 20 minutes from downtown Boston, is also convenient to area shopping, cultural attractions and restaurants.
