Gilbane Building Company has named David Jolin vice president.  Jolin is a 9-year veteran of the company and has a total of 14 years of experience in the construction industry. He serves as regional controller in the New England region leading the financial operations including safeguarding the company assets, risk management, financial reporting/budging/forecasting, internal controls and administration.
 Jolin has been with Gilbane in a variety of financial management positions. He joined Gilbane as a senior accounting manager and became regional controller in 2005. He has worked in the cost, estimating, scheduling, quality operations and finance departments in the company.
 He graduated from Providence College with a bachelor's degree in accounting and has a master's in finance from Bryant University. Jolin also holds a Professional Construction Management Certificate from Northeastern University and is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association.
