JLL hires Newman as group manager overseeing MIT Investment Management Company

Boston, MA JLL has hired Paul Newman as a group manager overseeing the MIT Investment Management Company (MITIMCo) portfolio, which encompasses two million s/f and 100 assets including office, lab, industrial, residential, and retail. 

Newman has over 25 years of property management experience. Prior to joining JLL, he served as general manager/city leader for Piedmont Office Realty Trust, where he was responsible for the management of a 1.8 million s/f class A office portfolio. Before that, he was the assistant director at Harvard University, overseeing 95 buildings consisting over of 4 million s/f of office, retail and industrial space. 

“Paul is a proven leader in our industry and a valuable addition to both JLL and MITIMCo,” said JLL regional director of property management Jennifer Christakes. “He has experience overseeing similar large scale portfolios and success building top notch teams. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Paul and we’re confident he will only help us continue to achieve results for our client.” 

Paul holds a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Isenberg School of Management. He resides in Brookline.
