JLL awarded IIDA NE Interior Design Award for PerkinElmer

Jones Lang LaSalle, was awarded an International Interior Design Association New England (IIDA NE) Interior Design Award for their work on PerkinElmer's 115,000 s/f office. The award was presented to the entire project team, which includes designer and architect ADD Inc, FCI and RDK Engineers. Jones Lang LaSalle served as construction manager. IIDA NE's Interior Design Awards recognize N.E, firms for outstanding interior design and excellence in teamwork. The awards were judged by a national audience of industry professionals outside of the N.E. region. Jones Lang LaSalle's senior vice president Steven Wassersug acted as project executive, assistant vice president Jamie Audette served as construction manager, and Kevin White performed as superintendent. According to Wassersug, "Each of the firms' commitment to open communication and teamwork resulted in an exceptional office and laboratory facility for our client PerkinElmer. This award recognizes the collaboration of the entire team and we extend our congratulations to the other firms." PerkinElmer's office serves as their new corporate headquarters and laboratory facility. Features of the office include open floor plans for all common areas, executive offices, a high-end boardroom, multiple conference areas, a two-story dining area with skylight, two interior stair systems, and an employee fitness facility. Jones Lang LaSalle has a longstanding relationship with PerkinElmer and has provided leasing and move management services to the life science leader in addition to construction management. In 2005, Jones Lang LaSalle's construction team and ADD Inc worked together on the fit out PerkinElmer's 42,000 s/f office and laboratory building on Albany St. in Boston.
