Jewett Construction designs building addition for Ira BMW
Jewett Construction is currently constructing a building addition to Ira BMW of Stratham, a full service BMW dealership.
The project includes a 34' x 70' 1-1/2 story addition, where the first floor will serve as an enclosed controlled environment (heat & AC) service write up/drive through area. The second floor mezzanine will have a concrete floor, light gauge framing, steel framed roof trusses and metal, standing seam sloped roof. This space will house a conference room, offices and storage areas. An enclosed glass walkway will be built extending from the new service write-up addition to existing parts/showroom and renovated customer waiting areas.
A second 36' x 70' single-story addition to the service bay is also being constructed. The addition will also house 4 new service bays in a complete controlled environment.
The design was provided by Jewett Construction as well as Kimball Chase of Portsmouth, NH and subcontractors such as MAS-CON; Gosselin Steel; Steel Elements; Marvell Plate Glass; CRP Contract Flooring and Longchamps Electric are involved in the project.

While power outages are often blamed on storms, they can also be caused by unforeseen events like accidents or construction mishaps. While it’s impossible to prevent disasters and power outages entirely, proactive preparation can significantly minimize their impact on your commercial building.
