Boston, MA IREM Boston Metropolitan Chapter No. 4 members Kimberly Parker and Pamelia Haynes hosted a Summer of Service project in collaboration with various local nonprofit organizations.
The day of “giving back to communities” took place at West Broadway Homes and West Broadway Apartments in South Boston, on the premises of a Boston Housing Authority redevelopment site, and in the surrounding community.
The IREM Boston Chapter Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, which is chaired by Parker, provided healthy snack boxes, cleaning supplies, and laundry products to area residents. More than a dozen area service providers attended the event, helping to hand out gift packages and signing local residents up for various services.
The free event also featured music, refreshments, raffles, and activities.
In addition to heading the DEI Committee, Parker, CPM, ARM is a member of the board of directors with the IREM Boston Chapter. She is a senior property manager with John M. Corcoran & Co.
Haynes, CPM, ARM, is a property manager with Micozzi Management.
