Hobbs Brook Management signs CSC to 26,645 s/f lease at 404 Wyman Street

Hobbs Brook Management LLC has entered into a long term lease with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). CSC has chosen 26,645 s/f at 404 Wyman Street in the Hobbs Brook Office Park in Waltham, Massachusetts. "CSC chose to relocate to 404 Wyman St. because Hobbs Brook's reputation precedes itself, and thus far we've found them to be outstanding landlords," said Lisa Rogier, office manager for CSC. "We've found the amenities within the building and the office park to be exceptional. Given the fact that employees spend an ample amount of time at the office, it is a bonus to be able to inhabit a building with covered parking, a fitness center and a good-quality cafeteria. Additionally, having an executive conference center within the building is a nice perk. Hands-down, 404 Wyman St. was our first choice." Chip Batchelder of Wyman Street Advisors handled the lease for Hobbs Brook Management. Alex Dauria of Jones Lang LaSalle represented CSC. "Thanks to all of the team members who were focused on CSC's strategic objectives, we were able to find the right space for the company's long-term needs," said Donald Oldmixon, first vice president of real estate, construction and leasing for Hobbs Brook Management. "The new space provides a comprehensive work environment that supports its specialized customer team. We look forward to welcoming CSC to the Hobbs Brook Office Park." As both owner and operator, Hobbs Brook Management LLC is committed to providing its tenants and their employees with a reliable and fully functional business environment. Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
