High Ridge Park Corporate Center has donated $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford. The donation funds a 13-week music appreciation program at the club.
The program is entitled Many Families Make an Orchestra and meets the Connecticut Education Standards for Social Studies. The Stamford Symphony Orchestra recruits and trains musicians to teach the program, while working with the club to develop the curriculum and teaching materials.
"Creating and organizing this educational program for the children at the Boys and Girls Club is truly a collaborative effort between several Stamford organizations," said Jodi Gutierrez, vice president of property management for George Comfort & Sons and on-site property manager at High Ridge Park Corporate Center.
