Hayes & Sherry leases 15,160 s/f at Belvoir's 245 Chapman St. building

UtiliData signed a lease for 15,160 s/f of office space with Belvoir Properties at 245 Chapman St. Pete Hayes, SIOR and partner with Hayes & Sherry, a Cushman & Wakefield Alliance member, represented UtiliData, and James and David Winoker negotiated for the landlord. UtiliData, whose technology optimizes the delivery of electricity by applying advanced signal processing through the electric grid, was lured to the state from Washington by a $500,000 loan from the R.I. Economic Development Corp. and the area's talent pool of engineers and technicians. UtiliData joins other tenants in this multi building redevelopment off Allens Ave. They include (add)ventures, R.I. Monthly, Lifespan, GTECH Corp. and Johnson & Wales University.
