Hartland Group and Twin Pines Housing developing $25m Gile Hill

The Hartland Group Community Developers and Consultants, LLC and the not-for-profit Twin Pines Housing Trust are co-owners and developers of Gile Hill. Following three years of intensive pre-development, construction has commenced on this 120 unit, $25 million mixed income housing development. The developers have selected Trumbull-Nelson Construction Company as construction manager. Consisting of 61 rental and 59 for-sale units in twelve buildings, Gile Hill is one of the first affordable housing developments in Hanover. The 22 acre site abutting the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center was donated by the town. With an energy conscious design to minimize heating and cooling costs, Gile Hill is being built to a 5-Star EnergyStar rating and is aiming for silver or gold certification from the LEED for Homes program.
