Harbor Group Management Company appointed managing agent for Metro Center I

Harbor Group Management Company has been appointed managing agent for Metro Center I, 350 Church St., a 293,000 s/f class-A office building in the central business district. The building, which has a 1,250 space garage, is currently 80%t occupied. Its flagship tenants include Lincoln National Life Insurance and CBIA. "We are very pleased to have been appointed to manage this asset," said Robert Friedman, president of Harbor Group Management Co. "Our firm has a strong history in Hartford's business district having managed other class-A office properties in the area that were owned by our affiliate Harbor Group International, LLC. We look forward to serving the needs of both the existing tenants and Berkadia. Our understanding of the market and long-term relationships with vendors and various service providers here will contribute to our ability enhance the value of the asset and maintain tenant satisfaction." Harbor Group Management was appointed by Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, LLC, which took over the loan for the property in 2010. The 12-story office tower was previously owned by Northland Investment Co.
