Hampshire Companies leases 120,544 s/f to the Davidson Company
According to The Hampshire Companies, a full-service, private real estate investment firm with equity in assets valued at more than $2.5 billion, Davidson Company, a distributor of specialty, ethnic, and kosher foods, has signed a long-term lease for 120,544 s/f at an industrial/warehouse facility located at 367 Alumni Rd.
Ideally located near the Hartford metropolitan area, the 616,278 s/f industrial/warehouse facility is within close proximity to I-84 and 91, enabling convenient travel throughout New England. The newly renovated industrial building now features new roofing, a substantially updated and powerful electrical system, and additional loading docks that allow tenants to more easily access their space, making this space ideal for tenants in the manufacturing, storage, and distribution fields. The building's exterior now boasts newly renovated roadways, an abundance of parking space, ample lighting, and landscaping, making the space both a secure and enjoyable place to work for tenants.
"The building's location near major area thoroughfares was a key factor in the tenant's decision, enabling the company to efficiently service New England, Westchester County, and upstate New York," said Kristin Hanson, an investment manager of The Hampshire Companies. "We look forward to a long-term relationship with Davidson Company and remain committed to providing quality commercial space in premier locations that meet the demands and needs of today's tenants."
Chris Metcalfe and Bill Bronson of CBRE North East Partners represented The Hampshire Companies in the transaction. Davidson Company was represented by Ed Godin of Matthews Commercial Properties.
