Guralnick of H. Pearce Real Estate brokers 4,200 s/f lease to Leon's

According to H. Pearce Real Estate's commercial division, senior broker Richard Guralnick, CCIM has completed a 4,200 s/f long term lease transaction at 344-354 Washington Ave. (Washington Plaza). The new tenant will be area favorite Leon's of New Haven, a locally owned restaurant which since 1938 has been synonymous with New Haven and exceptional Italian food. Eddie Varipapa, executive chef and owner of Leon's, plans to open an Italian style bistro and expand the tradition his family started in New Haven. Varipapa promises that this new venture will be another area favorite. Leon's is a winner of the Open Table Diners' Choice Award, a recipient of Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence and recognized as one of 'Elm City's Best'. Guralnick of H. Pearce represented the owner 354 Washington Ave. LLC and Lisa Varipapa of Weed Realtors represented Leon's in this transaction. Grand opening for the new restaurant is scheduled for late spring 2012.
