Griffin, Butler and St. John of Cushman & Wakefield broker $21.5 million apartment portfolio sale

West Springfield Ma Cushman & Wakefield of Mass. (C&W), completed the sale of the Berkshires Portfolio, comprised of 366-units spread through four separate apartment communities for $21.5 million. C&W's Capital Markets Group including Robert Griffin, Simon Butler and Biria St. John exclusively represented the seller, Equity Residential and procured the buyer, Berkshires DHC LLC. The portfolio is comprised of four separate apartment communities located in Western Mass.: *Van Deene Manor. Van Deene Manor is located in West Springfield and contains 111-units. The community was built in 1970 and is comprised of five 2 and 3-story buildings, containing a mix of one and two bedroom apartments. *Coachlight Village is located in Agawam and contains 88-units. The community was built in 1968 and is comprised of four 2-story buildings, containing a mix of one and two bedroom apartments. *Security Manor is located in Westfield and contains 63 units. The community was built in 1968 and is comprised of a single 4-story elevatored building, containing a mix of one and two bedroom apartments. *Sturbridge Meadows is located in Sturbridge and contains 104 units. The property was built in phases between the 1960s and 1984. The community comprises thirteen buildings and includes a mix of townhomes and flats.
