Greene|Sweeney Team at Residential Props. sell 19 Stimson Ave.

PROVIDENCE, RI Residential Properties negotiated the sale of 19 Stimson Ave., which sold for $1.625 million. This home was listed by sales associates Kira Greene and Michael Sweeney of the Greene | Sweeney Team, while the buyers were represented by sales associate Barbara Rhine. All three agents are members of RPL’s Providence office.

According to Statewide MLS data, RPL has now participated in 27 of the 30 East Side single-family sales over $1 million this year

Built in 1839, the Joseph E Fletcher Home is one of the last true estates on the East Side. This Victorian home is filled with period details throughout the floor plan.

A pair of oak doors welcomes you to the main house where the entry foyer captivates guests with its coffered gold leaf ceiling and dramatic staircase. Sit by the marble wood-burning fireplace in the parlor or in the quiet library accessed via a pair of pocket doors.

The second floor provides five large bedrooms and three full baths, as well as a relaxing sitting room that opens to a large balcony overlooking the over half an acre lot and carriage house.

An interior balcony on the upper level overlooks the ballroom with a custom built-in wet bar, set underneath an arched ceiling.
