Franklin Savings Bank awards nine nonprofit groups

Franklin, NH Nine local organizations were awarded grants through the FSB Fund for Community Advancement, the philanthropic arm of Franklin Savings Bank.  This round of funding represents the 41st grant cycle. 

Recipients include Camp Resilience (Gilford), $4,980; CATCH Neighborhood Housing (Concord), $5,000; Friends of Forgotten Children (Concord), $2,500; Friends Program (Concord), $1,500; Greater Tilton Family Resource Center (Tilton), $4,470; Lakes Region Community Developers (Laconia), $2,500; Merrimack Valley Day Care Center (Boscawen), $1,388; Tilton-Northfield Recreation Center (Northfield), $3,500; and Twin Rivers Interfaith Food Pantry (Franklin), $4,500.

“Community banking is about giving back and taking care of our customers and communities.  Our Fund provides resources that we can share with non-profit organizations that are doing such important work in our communities,” said Ron Magoon, president & CEO. “Further, we feel it’s critically important to take the time to learn more about the needs of civic organizations in the communities we serve, so we can provide the support needed to enable them to continue carrying out their mission.”
