FoxRock Properties' 201-unit Center & Stone development welcomes residents

Quincy, MA FoxRock Properties has welcomed its first residents to apartment homes at Center & Stone, a 201-unit two-building multifamily and retail development.

Tenants of the Stone building, a six-story addition situated behind the existing Masonic Temple with 66 studio and one-bedroom apartment homes, have enjoyed a light-filled penthouse amenity lounge including a rooftop deck with views of Boston. Fitness and yoga rooms feature top-tier equipment and feature walls with hand-painted murals by local artist, Badway Creative.

“We are ecstatic to have welcomed our first residents and look forward to introducing them to everything Quincy Center has to offer,” said Kayla Mobarak, general manager at Center & Stone.

Newcomers have already begun to explore a wide selection of restaurants and shops within walking distance along Hancock St. Center & Stone offers an urban, transit-oriented experience while still being near the hiking trails of the Blue Hills Reservation and several beaches. It is also close to Boston via I-95 or the Commuter Rail.

The Center & Stone project will include the restoration and reuse of the former Masonic Temple, built in 1926, which will house a new restaurant this fall. A second 135-unit residential building next door on Hancock St. is expected to begin preleasing in the coming months. The transit-oriented project is situated across the street from the MBTA Quincy Center Red Line stop, allowing commuters easy access to public transit, and is centrally located for bicyclists and pedestrians.

The pet-friendly Center & Stone residences feature additional amenities, including an outdoor courtyard with pool, fire pits, barbecue grills, lounge space, co-working spaces which include private offices, comfortable club rooms, as well as garage parking.
