FirstService Williams arranges 170,000 s/f ind./whse. lease
FirstService Williams Connecticut has arranged the renewal and expansion of an industrial warehouse lease on behalf of NEJ Inc. at 158 Pinesbridge Rd.
The lease consists of 170,000 s/f. Ernest DeLucia of FirstService Williams represented the landlord. 158 Pinesbridge Rd. is owned by SMSP CT LLC of Jackson, Michigan. NEJ Inc. is an off-price apparel solutions firm that works with global retailers, specialty stores, and famous brand companies.
"This transaction enabled NEJ to relocate several of its operations into one facility," said DeLucia. "The cost savings alone were very attractive, but the location of the new space was also very convenient for NEJ since its existing 108,000 s/f facility is next door."
FirstService Williams' Stamford office was founded in 2002. Since then its professionals have spearheaded many of the region's largest leasing and sales transactions. The office represents more than 2.6 million s/f of commercial property on an exclusive basis.
Providence, RI Shawmut Design and Construction celebrated the ceremonial groundbreaking for the 195 District Park Pavilion, marking the start of construction on a facility that will feature year-round dining and support space for park operations. In addition to the 3,500 s/f building, the project will include infrastructure upgrades

The industrial markets have never been stronger. What has happened is that the build out of Devens with new high-tech biotech manufacturing with housing to service these buildings serves as the connector required to really make the I-495 West market sizzle. Worcester has been the beneficiary
