Erland Construction completes Jafari Library & Science Center for Fenn School: 13,850 s/f designed by Imai Keller Moore Architects

Erland Construction has completed construction of the new 13,850 s/f Jafari Library & Science Center at the Fenn School. Teaming with Imai Keller Moore Architects and Zaurie Zimmerman Associates, Erland completed this project in 17 months. "This new Library & Science Center is the second consecutive project that Erland has successfully completed for Fenn School. We're very proud of our role in upgrading the facilities at this prestigious independent middle school," said Erland's president, Steve McDonald. For this project, Erland took down the existing Robb Hall and built the new 2-story Jafari Library & Science Center in the same footprint. The library occupies the entire first floor; the second floor features four science laboratories and support spaces. The new structure is tied into Thompson Hall and the School House - acting as a connector for the two existing buildings. Erland also performed life safety upgrades to the School House and exterior site improvements.
