Erland Construction begins next phase of Roseland’s Overlook Ridge, The Chase II

Malden, MA Erland Construction has begun the next phase of construction at Overlook Ridge, The Chase II–a multifamily housing development, for Roseland Property Company, a division of Mack-Cali. Erland was retained to execute this second phase after completing The Chase in late 2014. The Chase II is comprised of two 4- and 5-story wood frame buildings: Building 2B, a 194,000 s/f building with 173 rental apartment units; Building 3D with 123,000 s/f of space and 119 apartment units; and three sets of individual bay parking garages. The mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom units feature stainless steel appliances and stone countertops. Resident amenities include a fitness center; club, conference, screening and yoga rooms; children’s play area; and outdoor pool and entertaining area. The project architect on this new phase is Minno Wasko, Architects and Planners.

Erland, with offices in Burlington, Mass. and Hamden, Conn., is one of the region’s leading open shop construction management and general contracting firms.
