EnviroVantage wins Environmental Excellence Award from National Demolition Association

EnviroVantage was recently named the winner of the National Demolition Association's (NDA) "Environmental Excellence" Award for work they performed at York Mills in Saco, Maine. The award recognized EnviroVantage's quality workmanship in maintaining Environmental Stewardship, a major focus of NDA. The award was presented to EnviroVantage's president Scott Knightly at the NDA's annual meeting held at The Mirage Hotel, in Las Vegas. "This is a team award" said Knightly. "Our goal on every project is to maximize the environmental cleanup and this award is a reflection of the quality of work that our team members perform on a regular basis." The York Mills project involved the redevelopment of an 1829 textile mill building on an island between Saco and Biddeford. The clean up included the removal of hazardous materials and sandblasting while retaining the integrity of the old hard maple floors, bricks and stairwells. The project also included the removal and replacement of almost 700 windows, some as tall as 16 feet high. Written and visual descriptions of the project and the work were on display at The Mirage Exhibition Center during the NDA's annual conference. EnviroVantage's work will be featured in the May/June issue of Demolition magazine. EnviroVantage is a two time winner of Business of the Year and New England's most trusted Environmental Contractor providing services such as the removal of lead paint, asbestos and mold, demolition, disaster recovery, surface preparation and cleaning and more. Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
