Edens & Avant rehabs Arlington Ridge S.C.

Creating a place for the community to gather is central to Edens & Avant's vision for redeveloping the Arlington Ridge shopping center. Pedestrian-friendly walkways, outdoor-dining spaces, and extensive landscaping are key elements of the property's redevelopment, slated for completion in the fall of 2010. The outdoor spaces linking the retail shops have been designed to enhance the property's presence within the Arlington neighborhood. Reclaimed redwood siding, green screens, and outdoor seating areas are all part of the community inspired design. Arlington Ridge is located at the intersection of South Glebe Rd. and South Lang St., between I-395 and Reagan National Airport. Surrounded by densely populated residential communities, the existing shopping center includes a Giant Food grocery store, a Gold's Gym, as well as locally owned shops. New restaurants and retail will add additional dining and apparel shopping options to the mix.
