Duncan and Pike of George Comfort & Sons, Inc. handle 24,457 s/f lease

677 Washington Boulevard - Stamford, CT

Stamford, CT George Comfort & Sons, Inc. has finalized a lease agreement with Thomson Reuters, Inc. for 24,457 s/f of office space at 677 Washington Blvd. The company will relocate its local office to the downtown property during the second quarter of 2020.

“Our 677 Washington Blvd. property is emerging as the commercial epicenter of downtown Stamford, Connecticut,” said George Comfort & Sons president and CEO Peter Duncan. “We believe the downtown has begun its renaissance and we anticipate further progress for the city in meeting its economic potential. We are pleased to be a key part of that progress as we welcome Thomson Reuters to the Tower building at the property, where they will join current tenants KPMG and Perkins Eastman.”

677 Washington Blvd. is a class A complex located on 12 acres. It includes the 13-story office tower, the seven-story pavilion, and a three-story retail and ancillary building. With an extensive set of renovations now completed, tenants can use amenities such as upgraded food service with coffee bar, a fully-equipped fitness center with yoga studio, a conference center, and a lobby bar/café with outdoor seating available. The property is located close to I-95 and to the Stamford Transportation Center, which offers both Metro North Commuter and Amtrak rail service.

Duncan and Dana Pike, also of George Comfort & Sons, represented ownership in the transaction while Joe Cabrera and Mike Gordon of CBRE represented Thomson Reuters.
