Drinkwater and Richard of Marcus & Millichap sell retail strip for $1.875 million

Laurie Ann Drinkwater, CCIM, associate vice president investments, and Seth Richard, director, national retail group of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services have completed the sale of a retail strip tenanted by Sam's Food Stores, Dunkin Donuts, Pizza Hut and Subway in West Hartford, CT for $1.875 million. Drinkwater of the New Haven and Boston offices, and Richard of the Manhattan office represented both the seller and buyer of the 5,155 s/f retail property constructed in 2008. "We have provided the owners with property analyses on this site since 2010," said Drinkwater. "The group was finally ready to reallocate their equity and we were prepared and well equipped to sell on their behalf resulting in an offer the same day it hit the market which went in to escrow just 20 days later." "The property is fully leased to an excellent combination of regional and national tenants in a prime location within the affluent town of West Hartford," said Richard.
