Diversified Project Management retained for multiple public projects within Massachusetts

Diversified Project Management, Inc. (DPM), owner's representative firm providing programming, pre-construction, project management, construction administration, FF&E coordination and move-planning services, has been retained for several public projects within the state of Mass. The town of Natick has selected DPM to assist with the construction of a new community/senior center, expected to break ground this spring. The center will be built on the site of the present senior center, which is also the former District Court building on E. Central Ave. The new building will be 30,000 s/f and includes a gymnasium facility. DPM was also awarded the OPM role with the town of Granby, to aid the library trustees in completing a schematic design and a construction grant application submission to the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners for a new 12,000 s/f facility. The present Granby library was built in 1917 with a grant from the Andrew Carnegie Foundation and was sized to contain 5,000 volumes for a population of less than 1000 people. Nearly one hundred years later this same building struggles to serve more than 6,000 people with 28,000 volumes. DPM continues to serve as the OPM to the city of Holyoke, for the design and construction of a new senior center on Beech and Sargeant Sts. The project consists of 20,000 s/f on a 2.3 acre city block in the city's downtown area. The groundbreaking took place on April 27th and construction is expected to take 14 months. Also in western Mass., DPM has been retained as the OPM to the city of Westfield, for the planning, site selection, and designer selection of the city's new senior center. Diversified Project Management has previously managed similar municipal projects throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut, including the Academy of the Pacific Rim Charter School, the Town of Wenham, MA, The City of New Haven, CT and The Town of Norwalk, CT.
